Männerabend Special – Brazilian International Beer Awards!
Dennis welcomes Anna Bettu (BBA International Technical Coordinator) and Matthias Kopp (International Beer Judge & Beer Sommelier) as guests on the podcast.
We start the podcast with some words from Develon da Rocha, Founder & CEO of BBA and BBA Zero.
As a brewer and maltster as well as co-founder of the German Beer Academy, Anna brings many years of international experience to the discussion.
Together, they talk about the Brazilian International Beer Award and this year’s inaugural “BBA Zero”, the world’s first beer competition dedicated exclusively to non-alcoholic beers.
Breweries can still register their beers for the competition until October 1 (September 30 for BBA Zero).
- What has made the BBA one of the fastest-growing international beer competitions in Latin America?
- What are the benefits of participating for breweries?
- Why is an internationally diverse judging panel such a major advantage
- And in which categories are the beers evaluated?
We answer all these questions (and many more), share practical tips for the registration process, and walk you through the timeline leading up to the award ceremony.
If you have any questions about the BBA or BBA Zero, Anna will be happy to help.
You can reach her at bba@soleventos.net.
Enjoy the episode, and see you soon in Brazil!
